Dear Students (and Parents),
I’m excited to have you as a student. Your lessons are important to me and I take them very seriously. I hope to make this a rewarding experience. The following is my studio policy:
- All lessons begin and end on time.
- Because of a full schedule, I can't promise a make-up, but with advanced notice,
I will do my best. With last minute notice, I can do a project for you
(edit on song, or cd of specific exercises, or make a cd of possible
future songs to work on.)
- Make-ups are available during my summer schedule (July and August).
- Payment is due on or before the first lesson of the month. I will try to email a reminder at the beginning of each month (make sure I have your email address).
- Lessons run 40 minutes.
- I take off most holidays, but check first to see if I am teaching.
- Although rare, I reserve the right to discontinue a student. I don't
want to waste your money if you don't spend time practicing.
- The monthly rate for lessons is $200.00, which is for 4 lessons,
payable by the 1st of the month for that month.
- When there are more than 4 lessons in the month, I will usually
teach to make up for a past or upcoming holiday or vacation.
- There are a limited number of alternating slots ($100.00 for 2 lessons).
- If you alternate lessons, flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
- Please check my website (www.anyonecansing.com) periodically for policy changes and student news.
My studio door is always open. If it is your lesson time, please quietly wave to remind me it is your time. Please observe the 25 mph speed limit on the street, and watch for animals and children on bikes. Parents are always welcome to enter at any time during your child’s lesson. I constantly study and work to give you the best vocal experience. I sincerely hope to teach you to love the art of singing and be able to do it the rest of your life.
